It is made for women who care about fitness, but who also enjoy looking fashionable every day. Featuring a three-axis acceleration sensor that has never been utilized in a S Series model before, the watch starts counting steps automatically whenever the wearer begins walking, jogging, or running. In addition, if the wearer has set a goal for number of steps per day, she can check the current progress on her goal with just the push of a button. The step counter automatically resets itself to zero when the date changes, and then starts counting again. The watch can also be used for day-to-day health management. When no movement is detected for a certain period of time, the Step Reminder function uses the watch display and an electronic sound to encourage the wearer to get active. It also features a graph showing hourly step count for the past five hours, and step count history can be checked on the digital display.
